Exercise EW21: Balance One-legged stand

Goal: Training of balance and perception

Accessories: Yoga mat or balance pad (for advanced user)

Parameters: Frequency: 5-10 Hz + Wobble 2 if available / Position: 0 (feet next to each other) / Duration: 30-60 seconds

Procedure: Put one foot on the zero line. The aim is to stand on Galileo for 30 seconds without “support/hold”. The frequency should be as low as possible, as this provides the greatest stimulus for the vestibular system.

Advanced users: Place the Yoga mat or the balance pad on Galileo and place on the “virtual” zero line. The mat makes the ground more unstable, increasing the difficulty of the exercise.
