Exercise EW34: Shoulder stretching

Galileo Training Exercise EW34

Exercise W34: Shoulder stretching

Stretching and relaxation of the shoulder, variant of EW30

Goal: Stretching

Parameters: Frequency: 14-18 Hz / Position: 2.0-4.0 / Duration: 2 Min.

Procedure:
Posture:
Kneeling next to Galileo device, palm on Galileo, straight arm
Movement: Slowly increase the stretch by gradually lowering the upper body, alternating with releasing the pressure (e.g.: press the shoulder further down for 3 seconds, release the shoulder again for 3 seconds or raise it by a few cm).

Repetitions: Exercise can be repeated several times a day if necessary.

Tip 1: Stretching can be uncomfortable, but should not be painful. The position of the body in relation to the device or the direction in which the arm is extended (backwards, to the side, forwards) allows different parts of the shoulder muscles to be stretched.

Tip 2: Depending on how hard you press into the stretch, the focus of the exercise is more on loosening (light pressure) or stretching (higher pressure)
