Only load your forefeet, rise the heels at least 1 cm off the platform (no heel contact!)<br \/><em><strong>Movement:<\/strong><\/em> Slowly further lift and lower the heels (3 seconds up, 3 seconds down but without heel contact). Goal of the exercise is to completely exhaust the calf muscles.<br \/>Repetitions: Repeat exercise 2-3 times with a pause of 1-3 minutes in-between.<\/p><p><strong>Variation:<\/strong> Beginners can also stay in the static starting posture, without the movement.<\/p><p><strong>Tip 1:<\/strong> For better balance the fingertips can touch the handrail, but they should not carry any load.<\/p><p><strong>Tip 2:<\/strong> If the heel is lifted to high the foot might start to slide.
