The control group did not receive any additional training. The Galileo group received only 3 minutes at 20Hz (pos. 1) in a very simple upright standing position 3 times per week over 3 months.  <\/p>\n<p>Even though the group was obviously in a deconditioned state this training intensity can be considered as not very demanding. Despite the low training intensity, the Galileo Groups showed a significant improvement in Balance (+20%), Flexibility (+23%) and angular movement velocity (+54%). <\/p>\n<p>A little bit more intensive training using slightly higher frequencies (&gt;25Hz, #<a href=\"https:\/\/stratec-med.com\/wissenswertes\/grfs123-kann-bei-kniebeugen-mit-galileo-training-die-aktivierung-mit-jeder-wiederholung-steigen\/\" rel=\"noopener\">GRFS123<\/a>, #<a href=\"https:\/\/stratec-med.com\/wissenswertes\/grfs109-steigt-bei-galileo-training-die-muskelaktivierung-mit-steigender-frequenz\/\" rel=\"noopener\">GRFS109<\/a>, #<a href=\"https:\/\/stratec-med.com\/en\/grfs\/grfs-23-is-oxygen-uptake-during-galileo-training-independent-from-frequency-and-amplitude\/\" rel=\"noopener\">GRFS23<\/a>, #<a href=\"https:\/\/stratec-med.com\/en\/grfs\/grfs22-does-oxygen-uptake-during-galileo-training-increase-with-frequency-and-extra-loading\/\" rel=\"noopener\">GRFS22<\/a>, #<a href=\"https:\/\/stratec-med.com\/en\/grfs\/grfs21-does-blood-flow-during-galileo-training-increase-with-frequency-and-amplitude\/\" rel=\"noopener\">GRFS21<\/a>, #<a href=\"https:\/\/stratec-med.com\/en\/grfs\/grfs4-does-muscle-activation-increase-with-knee-angle-and-additional-loads\/\" rel=\"noopener\">GRFS4<\/a>, #<a href=\"https:\/\/stratec-med.com\/en\/grfs\/grfs3-do-high-frequencies-cause-more-muscle-activation\/\" rel=\"noopener\">GRFS3<\/a>) and a deeper squatting position would have focused the training on the hip surrounding muscles and therefore would have been favorable to decrease fall-risk.
